Four-run seventh keys WVHS win

For six innings Monday night, the Oxford Lady Chargers led the Water Valley Lady Blue Devils 2-0 and seemed poised to win their first home game of the season. Then the seventh started and the Lady Blue Devils finally started executing like coach Casey Clouse was wanting all along.

WVHS was able to tie the Lady Chargers and then surpass them in the top of the seventh en route to a 4-2 win. The Lady Blue Devils (2-0 overall) accomplished the come-from-behind victory by executing better at the plate against Oxford starter Ciara Steward and using two OHS errors to aid base runners.
