Heading into his 13th season as Ole Miss’ skipper, it was a matter of when, not if, for Mike Bianco.
Friday, Bianco tied legend Jake Gibbs as Ole Miss’ winningest baseball coach when the No. 7 Rebels clobbered Lipscomb 10-1.
Bianco then moved into first all alone with Saturday’s 8-5 victory, the 486th of his long career.
Ole Miss closed out the weekend Sunday by rallying from a four-run deficit to knock off Lipscomb 9-8.
