CHARLESTON — The Water Valley basketball team’s third win against Charleston this season marked a first for the Blue Devils’ basketball program — a spot in the second round of the MHSAA Class 3A North Half Tournament.
The Blue Devils 47-38 win over the Tigers in the opening round of the playoffs on Tuesday night at Charleston gym matches Water Valley up with Cleveland East Side, who advanced with a 53-45 victory against Ripley.
