Rebels rally to top Georgia in OT

Ole Miss’ goal of making the NCAA Tournament is still intact today thanks to the play of Marshall Henderson and an improved defensive effort against the Georgia Bulldogs in the overtime session of Saturday’s game at C.M. “Tad” Smith Coliseum.

The Rebels rallied from a slow start to post a much needed 84-74 win over Georgia in front of a crowd of 8,255 that was extremely nervous of where the game appeared to be headed with just under four minutes left in the contest.

From Ole Miss coach Andy Kennedy’s perspective, the victory was would likely be as beneficial down the road as it is currently after his team had lost four of five coming in.
