OM Rebels have to do a better job of defending Turner this time around

A loss to South Carolina a week ago only put the Ole Miss Rebels in jeopardy of not making the NCAA Tournament, it didn’t completely rule them out. There is still hope that they can be one of the 68 teams in the field that will be announced in less than month, and the way coach Andy Kennedy views it, there are four games left on the regular season schedule that can only help the Rebels’ chances. In order for the Rebels to finish with 13 wins in the Southeastern Conference, they are going to have avoid being swept by Texas A&M, tonight’s opponent at C.M. “Tad” Smith Coliseum. Garnering a win over the Aggies means the Rebels will have to do a much better job against senior guard Elston Turner Jr., who scored 37 points in Texas A&M’s 69-67 win against Ole Miss two weeks ago.
