Lady ‘Dores fall to reigning champs

PONTOTOC — The Lafayette Lady Commodores had their wings clipped Thursday.

Known to get out into space and fly down the court, the Lafayette girls basketball team was unable to fully enact their style of play against the reigning MHSAA Class 4A state champion Pontotoc in the North Half game.

Playing against a much more seasoned Lady Warriors squad in their home gym, Lafayette fell behind early and never led in the 52-35 loss.
