Ole Miss’ lineup and style of play is going to look different Saturday when the No. 16 Rebels hook up with the No. 4 Florida Gators at the O’Connell Center in Gainesville, Fla. The Rebels are now without reserve forward A.J. Jones for the rest of the year and without senior wing Nick Williams for at least Saturday’s game.
Jones tore his ACL against Kentucky, while Williams, who was suffering from plantar fasciitis coming into the matchup, is now in a cast. Jones is scheduled to have surgery to repair the damage to his knee next week, while Williams could return next week, but it all depends on his pain level, Kennedy said.
