A deep roster is something Lafayette tennis coach Debbie Swindoll will help make a difference for her younger group of players in 2013. A year after the most successful seasons in LHS tennis history, the Commodores are more youthful, Swindoll said. Gone are four individual state champions and standouts such as Mallory Davis and Barron Pruitt, the mixed doubles team that won the 4A individual state championship last year.
Swindoll does return her top boys doubles team in Jacob Roberts and Hunter Knighton. The boys side of the roster has the most returning players that include Garrett Reed, Brett Bowen and Nathan Hollis.
