Oxford’s middle school claimed a four-game sweep at Lafayette in the final hardwood showdown between the two schools Thursday.
Oxford’s seventh-graders won 20-7 to open the evening, while the eighth-grade Lady Chargers won 14-6.
Oxford’s seventh-grade boys claimed a 22-7 victory and the older Chargers held on to defeat the Commodores 24-19. (January 18, 2013, Page 6A)
