A win-win-win is what Steve Davenport called the pending multi-media deal between TeleSouth Communications, IMG College and Ole Miss athletics.
News of the deal first came out Sunday night while Ole Miss Athletics Director Ross Bjork issued a statement about some of the specifics of the deal Monday morning. IMG College is in the process acquired Ole Miss’ rights from TeleSouth, Davenport’s company that has been in charge of those duties for almost 30 years.
IMG College now services 10 of the 14 Southeastern Conference schools and more than 90 schools across the nation. According to IMG’s website, 67 of the 70 schools that played in a bowl game this year came under the IMG umbrella. (January 17, 2013, Page 7)
