The Courthouse Square Preservation Commission approved plans to demolish a part of a building, known as the old Belk shop, to make room for more parking in the new lot behind the Oxford University Club as well as the landscape and site plan that is expected to provide about 100 new parking spaces. (January 8, 2013, Page 1)
