Former Lafayette High standouts Shaq Isom and Nikki McChristian played pivotal roles in Northwest Mississippi Community College’s MACJC North Division win over Delta Tuesday night.
Isom went 7-for-10 from the field and finished with a team-high 18 points in the 78-57 win. McChristian, meanwhile, finished with 13 points and nine rebounds in the victory that improved NWCC to 12-3 overall and 3-1 in the division. The Rangers also posted an 83-73 win over Delta thanks to a balanced scoring ledger that saw five players score in double figures. (January 23, 2013, Page 3B)
