Jackson has ‘see it to believe it’ talent

Tight end is a position that Ole Miss coach Hugh Freeze and position coach Maurice Harris have been trying to upgrade and add depth to through the high school ranks. Christian Morgan (6-foot-4, 244-pounds) of Plano, Texas, has already enrolled in school and will participate in spring drills.

Evan Engram (6-3, 210) from Powder Springs, Ga., is a second player that the Rebels have garnered a pledge from, while Arshad Jackson (6-6, 245) of Lovejoy, Ga., is a third target Harris and Freeze would love to sign Feb. 6

Jackson, who goes by A.J., will be one of many players in Oxford this weekend touring the facilities and getting to know the coaches better on their official visits. If things go well, like they have the past month and a half ever since Jackson de-committed from Auburn, then the Rebels may have another big, versatile target for quarterback Bo Wallace to throw to.
