Adjustments made in the second half of Tuesday night’s game between Lafayette and Oxford in the OHS gym ultimately led the Chargers to a 55-46 win over the Commodores.
In a matchup that didn’t favor the Chargers from a physical standpoint, OHS coach Drew Tyler knew he had to maximize his team’s chances on offense while also getting a maximum overall effort everywhere else in order to pull out the win.
Thankfully for Tyler’s sake, the Chargers (4-5 overall) kept the game close enough to let their veteran coach work his magic in the halfcourt with set plays in the decisive fourth quarter. (December 12, 2012, Page 4B)
