Lady ‘Dores roll Cleveland

The Lafayette girls soccer team started their division slate off with a bang Friday. Led by Alley Houghton’s six-goal performance, the Lady ‘Dores (8-2 overall, 1-0 Region 3-4A) defeated Cleveland 12-0 at William L. Buford Stadium.

Abbey Pate scored four goals, while Kirkland Pruitt and Halle Moore each chipped in one goal apiece.

Lafayette is off until Jan. 4, when it picks up its divisional schedule at Lewisburg. (December 17, 2012, Page 3B)
