Lady Chargers split with Pontotoc

The Oxford seventh-grade Lady Chargers used balanced scoring to defeat Pontotoc 16-9 on Thursday night.

Cymiah McGee scored five points to lead the way. Christina Owens and Calicia Zinn finished with four and three points respectively. The eighth-grade Lady Chargers won 25-18. Ann Marie Blackmon led the way with 12 points. Monya Baskin and Tierra King each scored four points in the loss. (December 7, 2012, Page 7A)
