Cost key factor in welcome sign support

A new Civil War historical sign will be placed in front of the county jail after the Lafayette County Board of Supervisors approved the marker that was paid for by the Sons of Confederate Veterans. But welcome signs to come out of the county’s own pocket died for a lack of second in a motion on Monday. (December 4, 2012, Page 1)
