Water Valley ended its middle school basketball season on a high note Monday night with two wins over Bruce. The seventh-grade Blue Devils finished the year 7-1 thanks to a 34-8 win, while the eighth-grade Blue Devils won 21-15 to improve to 5-3 on the year.
Jayvon Morgan and Tyrese McGuirt each scored nine points to lead the seventh-grade Blue Devils, while Gavin Darby finished with six. Jack Pritchard led the eighth-grade with eight, while Tahjee James had five. (December 11, 2012, Page 9)
