Vanderbilt has bought in to Franklin’s message

Vanderbilt coach James Franklin attributed his team’s 27-26 come-from-behind win against Ole Miss on Saturday night at Vaught-Hemingway Stadium to the hard work they have put in since he was hired to turn things around Dec. 18, 2010.

Down 16-6 at the half and 23-6 in the early stages of the third quarter, the Commodores never blinked, they never pouted or hung their head; they only got stronger as the game wore on. Franklin, who has led the Commodores to a third road win in Southeastern Conference play this year — a first in school history — gave credit to his team for the way the overcame adversity against the Rebels. (November 12, 2012, Page 1B)
