Water Valley’s basketball season begins in earnest tonight with the first of three straight games in the annual Valley Classic. The Blue Devils, led by coach John Sherman, will take on Charleston tonight, North Panola on Friday and Coffeeville on Saturday.
Outside of two weeks of practices, the Classic is the first opportunity for the Blue Devils to play together now that the football season has come to a close. (November 29, 2012, Page 8)
