Run paces Lady Rebels in victory over NSU

With the backdrop of nearly 4,000 screaming kids at the C.M. “Tad” Smith Coliseum, the Ole Miss women’s basketball team overcame an early deficit to knock off Northwestern State 67-51.

The Lady Rebels opened the game a little flat and didn’t get going until midway through the first half when their defense began forcing turnovers.

After trailing 11-4 early on, the Lady Rebels traded baskets with NSU until the final minutes of the first half when the home squad started a 22-3 run bridged the two frames. (November 19, 2012, Page 4B)
