The recently announced 2012 Mississippi Association of Coaches Region 2-3A Super 22 Team was full of Water Valley Blue Devils.
Junior quarterback E.J. Bounds was named the region’s offensive MVP. Running back Jeoffrey Gordon, receiver L.J. Hawkins, offensive linemen Taylor Edwards, Montez Hairston and John Swinkowski, and kicker Alex Robles were each selected to the Super 22 offense. (November 29, 2012, Page 9)
