No. 7 Georgia overwhelm Rebels in 37-10 win

ATHENS, Ga. — Ole Miss will have to put its bowl-qualifying celebration on ice for at least another week.

Looking to qualify for their first bowl game since 2009, the Rebels couldn’t prove to be homecoming crashers Saturday at No. 7 Georgia’s Sanford Stadium.

Despite garnering an early 10-0 lead, the Rebels fell to the Bulldogs 37-10.

Georgia (8-1 overall, 6-1 Southeastern Conference) stumbled out of the gate but scored 37 unanswered points to distance itself from the Rebels (5-4, 2-3). (November 5, 2012, Page 1B)
