The Water Valley Blue Devils will look to avoid a déjà vu experience Friday when they travel to play Cleveland-East Side in the second round of the MHSAA Class 3A playoffs.
Last year, the Trojans eliminated Water Valley from the 3A quarterfinals in a game the home-team Blue Devils felt they gave away after surrendering four turnovers.
While earning a sense of redemption would be nice, WVHS head coach Brad Embry said he hasn’t spent much time on last year’s loss for several reasons. (November 8, 2012, Page 9)
