Millinghaus steps in Rebels’ rout

Derrick Millinghaus may have done more than just get his foot in the door Friday evening.

With head men’s basketball coach Andy Kennedy still mixing and matching players to find the best lineup during Ole Miss’ 92-52  win against Arkansas-Little Rock at C.M. “Tad” Smith, the freshman guard made a strong case to continue to see quality minutes.

Coming off the bench after starting guard Jarvis Summers picked up a couple quick fouls, the Schenectady, N.Y., native filled in more than admirably by leading the Rebels with 19 points in a team-high 25 minutes. (November 19, 2012, Page 4B)
