VIDEO BLOG: During Monday’s regularly scheduled press conference, Ole Miss head coach Hugh Freeze fielded questions ranging from the loss at Georgia to the team’s health and its upcoming opponent, the Vanderbilt Commodores (5-4 overall, 3-3 Southeastern Conference).
This weekend, the Rebels (5-4, 2-3) welcome a Vanderbilt squad that’s coming off of a convincing 40-0 win against Kentucky. The ‘Dores are also winners of three in a row and, like Ole Miss, are looking to gain bowl eligibility this weekend at Vaught-Hemingway Stadium.
Below, Freeze discusses the Rebels’ upcoming game, what went wrong against Georgia, and the recent performances of defensive lineman Bryon Bennett and quarterback Bo Wallace.
BACK ON CBS: It was announced Monday that the Rebels will return to the 2:30 p.m. CT slot on CBS next Saturday when they travel to Baton Rouge, La., to face the LSU Tigers. This weekend’s game is set for 6 p.m. and will be broadcast on ESPNU.
