Lafayette travels to face run-based New Albany

Lafayette fans who are planning to travel to New Albany for the Commodores’ second Region 2-4A road game of the season will want to get there early. With both teams relying heavily on the running game to move the football, Friday’s game should move pretty fast.

The Bulldogs enter the contest averaging almost 210 yards on the ground, with standout tailback Boston Newsome having carried the ball 232 times for 1,360 yards and 15 touchdowns. (October 11, 2012, Page 8)
