Lafayette gets back in win column

Looking to bounce back from last week’s overtime letdown, the Lafayette Commodores did just that Friday night.

On a crisp evening that served as Senior Night, the Commodores weren’t as sharp as they would have liked but were good enough to knock off Senatobia 23-7 at William L. Buford Stadium.

Lafayette surrendered a home-run score minutes into the Region 2-4A contest but bounced back to hold the visiting Warriors scoreless the rest of the way. (October 22, 2012, Page 2B)
