VIDEO BLOG: Ole Miss head coach Hugh Freeze met with the media today during his regularly scheduled press conference to discuss the Rebels’ last-second win against Arkansas and the team’s upcoming road test at Georgia.
Coming off of a rare road win in the Southeastern Conference, Freeze mostly focused on Saturday’s game at Georgia.
Below is Freeze’s opening statement plus his response to the first couple of questions.
Aside from a few injury updates, there wasn’t a lot of actual news that came from the presser. Freeze said cornerback Wesley Pendleton is doubtful due to a sprained knee, while fellow defensive back Senquez Golson is day-to-day due to concussion-like symptoms. Freeze added he’s hopeful defensive lineman Cameron Whigham (knee) is good to go against the Dawgs.
Saturday’s game at Georgia is set for 2:30 p.m. and will be televised on CBS.
OTHER NEWS: Ole Miss announced its Nov. 10 home hame against Vanderbilt has been set for a 6 p.m. kickoff and will be televised on ESPNU. … Earlier today, the Southeastern Conference honored Ole Miss kicker Bryson Rose by naming him the Special Teams Player of the Week.
