Jerry Lee “Duff” Dorrough died early Wednesday morning. As funeral plans are still in the works, friends and bandmates recalled the legacy of the musician and artist.
Visitation is Saturday, Oct. 6 at the Ruleville Methodist Church followed by services at 2:00. Afterwards, the burial will be at the Marlow Cemetery located close to his home. (October 3, 2012, Page 2)
Duff Dorrough was a fine person!!!! My husband and I, both, taught him when he was in high school. I don’t think there will ever be another one like him….Such a loss!
Duff and I are friends for life. From first grade on we were buddies.
Started playing guitars together, we’re in talent shows together, even dated the same girls.
There is a huge hole in my heart for now. We will sing together again in the sweet by and by!
