Dr. Gerre Hopkins died Friday at the Mississippi State Veterans Home at the age of 82. Hopkins, a physician and a pharmacist, served Oxford in a variety of ways, including being Ole Miss Rebels team doctor and working with intellectually disabled children and adults. (October 22, 2012, Page 3A)
