Rebels look to rebound in Big Easy

After three straight weeks of playing games in Oxford, Ole Miss coach Hugh Freeze seems to be looking forward to his first road game of the season Saturday at Tulane. It’s not that Freeze doesn’t like playing in front of a capacity crowd at Vaught-Hemingway Stadium like he did last week, he just feels like a little time away from campus, with his team having less distractions and a less hyped game, could serve as a positive. (September 21, 2012, Page 6A)

Hey Ole Miss fans – thanks for a good time at the game last week. Was a lot of fun. I will suggest to you to quit drinking the SEC koolaid that every team in the SEC is great because you are in the SEC. There were actually Ole Miss fans who thought Ole Miss would beat Texas. We Texas fans figured we would win by at least 3 TD’s – we were wrong – it was 5 TD’s. The Big 12 is tough – good luck the rest of the season.
