I agree that the cellphones shouldn’t be for personal use while driving the buses, but I’m glad my kids driver had a cell to call me when one didn’t get on the bus. He had went to the wrong bus and they were able to find him before she left the school. She was concerned and I appreciate that.
Why not provide the drivers with issued phones and bluetooths? These drivers are parents too and they may have emergencies that come up and need to be contacted while they are at work driving our kids to/from school. I wonder does this “concerned” parent ever use her phone in the car while driving her kids?
