The Water Valley volleyball team got its season off to a good start with a tight win over startup New Albany on Tuesday. The Lady Blue Devils were able to fend off the visiting Lady Bulldogs to the tune of 3-0 (25-20, 25-20, 25-23) win. Next up for Water Valley is an away match against Byhalia on Aug. 23. (August 15, 2012, Page 7)
