Salvation Army gets tough with thieves

The Salvation Army receives bags and bags full of donations each day. While most are brought during business hours, many arrive when the store is closed and are left on the side of the building. After security cameras were installed recently, Director Lisa Coleman was shocked to see so many people sneaking up and stealing the donations before the store has time to process it. They have served papers on two alleged thieves and are working to serve several more with a citation for malicious mischief. (August 24, 2012, Page 1A)
