Rangers opener delayed

The 11th-ranked Northwest Mississippi Community College Rangers will begin their 2012 season on Saturday due to Hurricane Isaac.

The Rangers were scheduled to play at Southwest tonight, but due to the threat of heavy rain and potential tornadoes spawned from Isaac, the game was postponed until Saturday at 6 p.m. The contest can still be heard locally on 105.5 FM with Ronnie Williams and Keith Patterson calling the action. (August 30, 2012, Page 8)
