Moore, Grant return to practice; Freeze discusses Ward, more

VIDEO BLOG: Ole Miss received plenty of good news when it returned to the practice field today.

Collins Moore (torn labrum) and Uriah Grant (shoulder) were back at practice.

Moore has been out for two weeks, while Grant has been out since the spring.

Highly touted signee Channing Ward also went through his first practice after being cleared by the NCAA Clearinghouse Friday evening. First-year head coach Hugh Freeze said the former Aberdeen standout and prep All-American was ‘swimming’ with everything being thrown at hime but at least looks the part.

Below, Freeze discusses injures, Ward, thoughts after watching film of Saturday’s scrimmage, implementing a game plan in preparation of the season opener against Central Arkansas and more.
