Hill: LHS has plenty of speed yet again

There may be different names running the Lafayette High offense this season but Oxford coach Johnny Hill said quarterback Brandon Mack and running back D.K. Buford have more than enough speed and talent to make all the plays to beat his Chargers if OHS don’t play well.

Oxford hosts No. 6 ranked Lafayette in the annual Crosstown Classic contest Thursday night at 7. In a game that is being sponsored by C Spire Wireless and highlighted on Fox Sports South, Hill is hoping that the only fireworks that go off are before the game and turned in by his team rather than by the speed of Buford and Mack. (August 29, 2012, Page 6)
