Chick-fil-A sales jump during protest

Chick-fil-A sales were up over 200 percent locally as people turned out to support the corporation after stating it’s views against gay marriage. Locals in line said that it was about supporting the Bible and showing their dislike for same-sex marriage. Some also said it was the media slandering Chick-fil-A. But the local business said they want to stay out of politics and just support the entire community. (August 2, 2012, Page 1, 8)
