BLOG — Thursday afternoon was a fun time, a reward if you will, for both the Lafayette Commodores and Oxford Chargers at the Airport at Ole Miss.Members of both teams posed in front of a Boeing AH-64 Apache helicopter in preparation for annual posters that highlight team schedules. The helicopter was flow in from Tupelo where they are part of the Mississippi Air National Guard unit. Players not only posed in front of the helicopter, but with weights and other fitness equipment. Iron Dores has been an annual poster distributed locally by the team and included backdrops such as a fire engine and tank. Oxford has also done similar posters in recent years.

Players that take part in the event are those that attend a certain amount of offseason workouts at each school.
