Bluegrass State C headed to Ole Miss

A change of heart led Tyler Jackson to Oxford.

In January, the Lexington Catholic (Ky.) senior catcher verbally committed to play baseball at Western Kentucky, but after doing some thinking, Jackson decided what he really wanted to do was make a push to play in the Southeastern Conference.

After doing some digging to see which programs may need depth at catcher, Jackson sent information to Ole Miss, Tennessee and Alabama.

The Volunteers and Rebels ended up reciprocating the interest. (July 19, 2012, Page 7)
