“Positive” was one of the words Ole Miss defensive end signee Channing Ward used to describe his chances of obtaining entrance to school before players officially report Aug. 2 and the start of summer drills.
The 6-foot-3, 255-pound standout from Aberdeen is still trying to meet freshman eligibility qualifications. He is one of only two high school signees from the 2012 signing class that has not attended at least one semester of summer school.
