As the city moves forward with implementing a paid parking system, city officials want the public to understand it’s not about making money but to manage parking. At 5 p.m. Tuesday at City Hall, the Board of Aldermen will be holding a public hearing to allow Standard Parking to present its recommendations, show off the equipment proposed to be used for the paid parking system and answer questions from the public. (May 10, 2012, Page 1, 2)
