Might the city and county not join fiscal forces and look at the nice, big empty movie theater as a location ripe for remodeling into a theater/auditorium location and thus satisfy the apparent need for an Arts facility? Surely taking it off some owner’s hands would be more cost effective than building new, particularly if the facility is re-purposed for other uses too.
