Brett Huber started the year as Ole Miss’ closer.
If the season continues on its current course, the junior right-hander won’t finish the season at the back of Ole Miss’ bullpen.
And, according to Huber, he’s OK with that.
Following his one-inning appearance April 14 at Georgia, Huber felt some discomfort in his elbow and was sidelined as a precaution.
While he’s still unsure what caused the elbow “tenderness,” Huber pitched one scoreless inning Sunday at Mississippi State and said Wednesday he’s back. (May 4, 2012, Page 6A)
