Lafayette’s Division 2-4A game with Lewisburg literally came down to one play. Unfortunately for the Commodores, the play didn’t go in their favor.
Three nights after beating Lafayette by nine runs, Lewisburg snuck out of W.V. Brewer Field with a 2-1 win to earn a season sweep.
Friday night’s game was decided in the top of the sixth inning when Lewisburg broke a 1-1 tie on a play at the plate. (April 2, 2012, Page 9)
