OM’s Frizzell anxious to get back on the court

The 2012 season was a tough one for the Lady Rebels.

The 12-win season was especially difficult on freshman Gracie Frizzell.

Midway through her senior year at Central Arkansas Christian in North Little Rock, Ark., Frizzell tore her ACL.

Less than a year later, Frizzell re-tore the same ACL.

As a result, Frizzell, who was often described by former coach Renee Ladner as a fiery competitor, was restricted to being a cheerleader from the bench.

Now that Frizzell has been fully cleared to play, she’s ready to make her mark on the new coaching staff. (April 5, 2012, Page 2B)
