No. 18 Rebels blow late lead to Tigers

MEMPHIS — Jacob Wilson proved to be quite the party crasher Tuesday evening.

Not only did the Memphis third baseman breakup the no-hit bid three Ole Miss pitchers had pieced together until the seventh, but Wilson put the hometown Tigers ahead for good in the following inning with a two-run homer.

The shot, which landed on the grass well beyond the left field wall, proved to be enough as the Tigers topped No. 18 Ole Miss 4-2 at AutoZone Park. (April 25, 2012, Page 6)
