Ten first-place finishes helped lead the Lafayette girls track team to a Division 2-4A title Monday at Lewisburg. The meet started on Friday but had to be finished Monday due to rain. Lewisburg, Senatobia, New Albany and Tunica-Rosa Fort competed in the meet. It was the second division title in three seasons for the Lady Commodores, who seemed poised to follow up last year’s second-place finish at the state meet. (April 24, 2012, Page 10)
