Rebels try to impress scouts at OM Pro Day

Just because they may be done suiting up in red and blue doesn’t necessarily mean several Ole Miss football players need to hang up their spikes.

Friday at the Indoor Practice Facility 12 Rebels ran, jumped, and lifted for 20 National Football League scouts in an attempt to either improve their draft stock, or, in the cases of some of the lesser-known prospects, catch the attention of a team.

Included in the workouts were seniors Brandon Bolden, Enrique Davis, Wayne Dorsey, Derrick Herman, Damien Jackson, Layton Jones, Kentrell Lockett, Vincent Moss, Justin Smith, Bradley Sowell and Marcus Temple.

Junior Bobbie Massie was also on hand.

For Bolden, who wore his orange and black garb from last month’s NFL Combine in Indianapolis, Friday presented an opportunity to improve upon his numbers in a familiar atmosphere. (March 12, 2012, Page 2B)
